The staff-wanted sign is a little - vague. It says "This person is as friendly as a saloon keeper and knows the lay of the land. A head full of high grade ore. And as reliable as a good saddle".
This is entertaining, but doesn't tell you what the actual job is. It's a small shop, though, so I'd guess this job is actually "shop assistant".
