A assistant store-manager is now required to be second-in-command at Holland
and Barrett health food store in Shop St, next door to Eason's bookshop.
This is a permanent of 35 hours per week. Pay is €15.60 per hour,
and you get a 25% employee discount and 30-days annual leave pro rata
(note: this probably includes public holiday make-up days).
Ideally they want you to have:
- Previous retail experience
- Excellent communication and people management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations in a fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to understand and analyse sales figures daily, to enable the store to trade within Company parameters and goals
- Passion and enthusiasm for our products
- Ability to complete regular computer-based training to ensure exceptional product knowledge (note: with this employer such training is usually done outside your paid hours)
- Ability to be agile and flexible to multi-task and achieve the best results.
