Cafe staff are now required at Bridie Murphy's cafe in Mainguard Street, just up from the Dew Drop pub.
What you will do in this job:
- Prepare and serve coffee and other drinks (non-alcoholic only) to customers
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized workplace
- Operate coffee shop equipment, eg espresso machine, grinder
- Help with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Follow all food safety and quality regulations
They want someone who has:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
