There is a sign up in the Galway city-centre branch of Budget Rent-a-car - at the bottom of Eyre Square next door to Thirteen on the Green), saying that they are accepting applications for a job vacancy.
The sign doesn't have any details - but their website says that this is a permanent, full time position
The job includes preparing cars for hire (ie valeting / cleaning - this is done in the Hynes Yard carpark), serving customers, and general office duties. The branch is open from 9.00am to 6.00pm, and the job requires weekend work.
You will need have excellent communication skills, a full driver's licence and computer skills. And you must be comfortable working in a fast paced, busy environment, able to work on your own initiative, be trustworthy and reliable.
Sales experience is a definite advantage.
