Customer service - car rentals

There is a sign up in the Galway city-centre branch of Budget Rent-a-car - at the bottom of Eyre Square next door to Thirteen on the Green), saying that they are accepting applications for a job vacancy.  

The sign doesn't have any details - but their website says that this is a permanent, full time position 

The job includes preparing cars for hire (ie valeting / cleaning - this is done in the Hynes Yard carpark), serving customers, and general office duties.    The branch is open from 9.00am to 6.00pm, and the job requires weekend work.

You will need have excellent communication skills, a full driver's licence and computer skills.  And you must be comfortable working in a fast paced, busy environment, able to work on your own initiative, be trustworthy and reliable.

Sales experience is a definite advantage.

Salary depends on experience:  it starts form €22,000.00 per year and, good sales performance will be rewarded with generous commission.

Staff are wanted for sales assistant and delivery assistant positions in Next fashion-store.  Their only Galway city store is now in Knocknacarra, in the Gateway Retail Centre, next to B&Q.

These are minimum wage jobs:  the website quotes the pay-rate as between €7.35 and €10.50 per hour.   However they are offering fixed hours, so you don't have to be "fully flexible" - and there are benefits including 25% staff discount, first pick of sale stock, uniform allowance, and the ability to pick up, offer and exchange shifts by phone (presumably they have an app) and "online employee perks".
