They want people who are friendly and love seeing people have fun, to help usher people into the exciting world of virtual reality.
You must be at least 18 years old, and available to work evenings and weekend, ie from Thursday to Sunday.
The job involves assisting customers:
- checking them in through the point-of-sale system
- assisting them in entering virtual reality (VR): most are coming in completely unfamiliar with virtual reality
- answering questions they have
- troubleshooting the equipment
- keeping the equipment and arcade clean
- creating a professional and positive environment for them.
You must have and understanding of PC hardware, and customer service or retail sales experience
Prior gaming experience, a background understanding of VR, the Steam storefront or any other gaming systems is helpful, but you will receive the training necessary to become a VR expert.
To help you be familiar with the arcade library, you will have the option to play through VR games for free during non-arcade hours.
